I like to simplify things – don’t get me wrong complex stuff is great and interesting. It’s what challenges us and gives us satisfaction to comprehend – but I think we don’t need to complicate things if it’s not. Let’s not turn everything into science.
As an engineer by heart this is a struggle – I like to theorize, disassemble, fix and reassemble. I have discovered that this method is far from ideal. It’s solid and thorough, yes but it’s often also slow, overachieving and complex.
